JYSK Nordic publishes annual accounts

JYSK Nordic, which covers 15 of the countries in which the JYSK Group has stores, has today published its reports for 2011/12.

The annual report for the part of the JYSK Group known as JYSK Nordic has been published today.

The report covers those companies with stores in the Nordic countries, central Europe, the Netherlands, the UK and China. The report thus covers 15 of the countries in which JYSK now has stores.

The report does not cover the stores in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Spain or Italy, which are run by JYSK Nordic's sister company Dänisches Bettenlager. JYSK Franchise and other companies in JYSK Holding A/S have not been included either.

JYSK's financial year finished at the end of August.

Net profit after tax was DKK 535.4 million, compared to DKK 575.2 million in 2010/11. Profits are regarded as satisfactory and correspond to expectations.

EBIT fell slightly from DKK 861.3 million to DKK 848.3 million in 2011/12. Consolidated net revenue grew by 3.4% as a result of new stores being opened.

The expansion of the overall JYSK group is continuing. We currently have around 17,500 employees spread across more than 2,000 stores, two head offices and six distribution centres. This year, we can therefore state once again that the number of stores and employees has never been higher – and that we are continuing the expansion, allowing even more customers to enjoy lots of great offers from JYSK.
