Corporate Social Responsibility

As an international company, we are daily in touch with thousands of customers, employees and business partners. We purchase large amounts of products from our suppliers around the world. Our actions affect our surroundings which places an obligation on us. At JYSK, we are aware of our responsibility, and we expect and demand the same from our suppliers.


A joint effort

Working with social responsibility, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is complex. JYSK works with a number of organisations in order to, in the best way possible, meet our responsibility and overcome the challenges we face as a global company. We believe that through training within the supply chain and working with our suppliers and other partners, we can influence attitudes and working procedures.

It is precisely because of the complexity of the CSR work that it is difficult to issue any guarantees. However, what we can guarantee is that we are aware of our responsibility and that we are working to make a difference. Making a difference is about involvement. Therefore, we would rather prefer to help our suppliers change their conduct rather than ending our partnership with immediate effect if we were to encounter any problems. Thus, we cannot guarantee that there are no areas in which a supplier should improve. CSR is a process, and we believe that involvement is the way to move forward.
